The 45 RPM (Record Preservation Museum) is a concept that's the culmination of more
than 50 years of involvement with the 45 rpm record. My very first record was "Heartbreak
Hotel" by Elvis Presley (RCA #6420) purchased in 1956 as a freshman entering high school.
In 1967 I was bitten by the collecting bug having amassed over 40,000 45's to date. Further
involvement began in 1969 when I started doing DJ work, both professionally and as a part
time business, which continues to this day.
My lifetime goal is to provide a venue where visitors can take an active part in the many sights and sounds the evolution of the 45 has provided.
